Blanket number 118

This one is called The Infinite Sadness of My Friendly Solitude. I think this blanket describes my current feelings and thoughts better than any words.

Long time no see

Hi pals! Long time no see. I've been a bit depressed lately. Oh, let's be frank about it. I've been depressed not a bit but a lot for some time now. I've re-established my relationship with the wonderful world of antidepressants and things have started to clear up a little. Anyway, I got a valuable and much needed reminder of the fact that I can't kill the bastard, I have to learn to live with it. Depression, I mean.

Here are some answers:
- My lovely little sister (not the genius you all know, she's my big sister) made the square with pink and blue and brown stripes and little brown and pink dots. I made her knit one square when she visited us and I haven't seen her since. It couldn't have been that bad, could it?
- Each square is about 20 x 20 cm, ie. 7.9 x 7.9". Sometimes I pick up and knit to start another square and sometimes I knit the squares separately and sew them together. My favourite yarn for blanket knitting is Novita 7 veljestä.

The newly arisen depression has made me knit even more. There are 117 blankets alltogether at the moment. These are the two Official Kati blankets:

These are called Kati blankets, because all the yarns used for these blankets have been donated by Kati, my secret yarn maecenas. Thank you ever so much, Kati!

This one is blanket number 117. I don't have a name for it. It's just a silly little blanket with no name, but somehow I like it.
